New Partner Program - What Changed?

We’ve redesigned the Weel Partner Program to make it fairer, more rewarding, and easier to grow. The new structure gives you more flexibility in how you work with Weel -whether you just want to refer clients or take on implementation and earn margin.

Here’s a summary of what’s changed and what it means for you.

What was the old referral program?

The old program rewarded partners based on the number of clients referred over their lifetime, regardless of client size or ongoing activity.

Gold 21+ clients 20% discount

While simple, it didn’t reflect the scale or value of the clients you referred - for example, one client with 5 users counted the same as one with 50.

Why did Weel change the program?

We wanted a model that:

  • Rewards impact, not just volume - recognising the size and engagement of referred clients.
  • Keeps rewards tied to activity - encouraging ongoing collaboration.
  • Creates a sustainable, scalable structure that grows with your success.

What's new in the updated program?

The new model is designed for active, growth-focused partners who want to keep building momentum.

  • Rolling 12 month contribution - your partner tier is now based on the total number of paid users you refer in the past 12 months, not lifetime totals. 
  • Tiering based on total paid users - Larger client wins now count for more. You'll reach higher tiers (and offer biggest discounts) even with fewer clients.
  • 12 month client discount period - Client discounts now last for 12 months from referral. You can offer larger discounts as you move up tiers.
  • Two partner pathways - We've introduced two ways to partner, depending on how hands-on you want to be:
    • Referral Partner - You introduce the client, and Weel handles onboarding, setup, and support.
    • Implementation Partner - You manage onboarding and can optionally handle billing. Pass on higher discounts and build Weel directly into your service offering.
  • Free Partner Accounts - Each partner can now access one free Weel account (up to 50 users) - available to partners who refer at least two clients within a 12 month rolling period. 
    • The free account is designed to help you experience Weel firsthand, so you can speak confidently about its value to your clients.

    • It puts you in a stronger position to demonstrate credibility, run internal spend through Weel, and showcase best practices.
    • It’s not intended as a standalone free tool - it’s a benefit for partners who actively introduce Weel to their clients.
  • Partner Agreement - All active partners must now sign the Weel Partner Agreement to access:
    • Client discounts or margin benefits
    • Free internal account
  • New Perks & Recognition - We’re also introducing new ways to recognise and support top partners, including:
    • Partner spotlights and co-marketing opportunities
    • Enablement events and product previews
    • Exclusive events

    These initiatives are designed to celebrate partner success and strengthen long-term collaboration.

What happens to existing partners?

All existing partners will be contacted directly about joining the new program.
You’ll receive:

  • A personalised invitation to join the updated Partner Program

  • Clear timelines and next steps for transitioning

  • Details on your new tier and benefits under the refreshed structure

From 1st  November 2025, all new client referrals will receive a 12-month discount based on your tier at the time of referral.

Any existing client discounts will remain in place until 1st July 2026, after which the new 12 month discount model will apply to all new referrals.
