Weel Partner Program Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) set out how the Weel Partner Program (“Program”) works. By joining, you (“Partner”) agree to the terms below

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) set out how the Weel Partner Program (“Program”) works. By joining, you (“Partner”) agree to the terms below. 


1. Partnership Prerequisites

To be accepted into the Program, you must:

  • Complete an introductory call with a Weel partnerships manager; and
  • Complete the Partner sign-up form, including acceptance of this Agreement.

Weel reserves the right to accept or decline any organisation or individual as a Partner, even if prerequisites are completed.


2. Key Definitions

Referred Client: To be recognised as a Referred Client under this Program, the Partner must introduce the prospective client to Weel directly (via the referral form or email introduction) before the client has created a Weel account.

Referrals submitted after a client has already signed up will not count towards Active Clients, Partner Tiers, discounts, or margin payments.

Where both Weel and the Partner have independently identified the same client, Weel may, at its discretion, agree to shared credit or partial referral recognition depending on the Partner’s involvement in progressing the opportunity.

Weel reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the validity of any introduction.

Active Client:
An Active Client is a referred Client that has:

  • Completed account onboarding (including AML/CTF verification checks);
  • Funded their Weel account; and
  • Activated billing on a paid Weel subscription.

Trial accounts, inactive sign-ups, or clients on free plans do not count as Active Clients for the purposes of Partner Tier eligibility, discounts, or benefits.

Active User:
An Active User means a paid, billable user seat within an Active Client account. Each paid user seat counts towards Partner Tier eligibility and referral volume calculations.


3. Partner Tiers & Eligibility

  • Status based on users: Your Partner Tier is determined by the total number of active users across all referred clients within a rolling 12-month period.

  • Referral volume: Referral volume is determined based on the number of users agreed upon at the time the client signs up to Weel.

  • 3-month review: Referral volume will be reviewed three months after client activation to confirm the number of active users matches the agreed user count at sign-up. If the number of active users is lower than agreed, Weel may adjust your Partner Tier or referral credit accordingly.

4. Client Discounts

  • Duration: Discounts apply for 12 months from the client’s first billing date.

  • Tier application: The discount rate is determined by your Partner Tier at the time the client signs up. If that sale moves you into a higher Tier, the new rate will apply to that client and all future referrals, but will not be applied retrospectively to clients referred under a previous Tier.

  • Exclusions
    • Partner discounts do not apply to accounts already on discounted pricing (e.g. multi-business or promotional pricing). 

5. Program Benefits - Internal Use Accounts

  • Eligibility: You receive a free Weel account for your own use (on our Premium Plan) once your first Active Client is onboarded.

  • Ongoing access: To retain free access, you must refer at least two new Active Clients  on Weel within each rolling 12-month period.

  • If you no longer qualify: If you no longer meet the eligibility criteria for a free Partner Account, the following will apply:
    • Weel will contact you to confirm that you no longer qualify.
    • You may choose to refer a new client, downgrade to a Basic Plan or close your account.
    • If you take no action, your account will automatically convert to a paid Premium Plan at Weel’s then current pricing, billed from the start of the following month.
  • Limits:
    • Each partner business is entitled to one free Weel account. 
    • User limit: free accounts include up to 50 users.
    • Extra users: $8/user/month.
    • Expense record limit: There is no expense record limit.
    • Extra accounts: $59/month for up to 10 users, then $8/user/month.
    • Pricing: All prices are exclusive of GST.

6. Demo Accounts

  • Partners may be provided with a Weel demo account for the sole purpose of demonstrating the Weel platform to prospective clients.
  • Demo accounts are granted at Weel’s discretion and must not be used for live client data, production environments, or any purpose other than demonstrating Weel’s features.
  • Partners must not share demo credentials externally or grant access to any third party.
  • Demonstrations may only be shown to legitimate prospective clients under consideration for Weel.
  • Weel may revoke or modify demo access at any time.

7. Term, Updates & Termination

  • Commencement: This Agreement begins once you’re accepted into the Program.
  • Updates: Weel may update the Program or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified at least 60 days in advance.
  • Termination:
    • Either party can terminate with one month’s written notice. 
    • If Weel terminates the Agreement for reasons other than breach, the Partner will continue to receive any applicable client discounts or margin for the period originally agreed, provided those clients remain on paid Weel subscriptions.
    • Either party can terminate immediately if the other materially breaches this Agreement.
  • Effect: When this Agreement ends, you lose access to Partner Program benefits (discounts, free account, enablement and other entitlements).

8. Relationship of Parties

Participation in the Program does not create a legal partnership, agency, or joint venture. You are not authorised to act on Weel’s behalf or make any commitments for or on behalf of Weel.


9. Weel Global T&C

All Weel accounts (including your free Partner Account and referred client accounts) are also covered by the Weel Global Terms and Conditions (Weel Global T&C). In the event of an inconsistency between these terms and the Weel Global T&C, the Weel Global T&C shall prevail.
